Dr. Maegan Cook
Dr. Cook completed her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University. She prides herself on maintaining memberships with the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association. She is an active member in my Spear Education Study Club and a candidate member of the Milwaukee Dental Forum; she values life-long learning to improve upon and expand her dental skills. You will also find her teaching weekly at Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Cook's goal is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, valued, and respected. She believe that the long-term success of dental treatment is the result of the collaboration between the dental team and patients. Therefore, she strives to incorporate each patients’ desires into their specific treatment plan while also providing patients with the personalized educational materials needed to maintain oral health at home.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cook, her husband and two sons, enjoy exploring the outdoors, building Lego models, and reading together. She ran four full marathons during dental school and hopes to add more half marathons to her athletic accomplishments in the future. Although her and her family have lived in Wisconsin since 2005, you may find them wearing Cubbie blue t-shirts on game days and finding excuses to eat Chicago-style foods from Portillo’s or Lou Malnati’s.
